Grayton Central Parking

Wondering where to park for the South Walton Beach Tram? The Grayton Beach Municipal Parking Facility, also known as Grayton Central, is one of the easiest places to begin your beach adventure. With 204 standard parking spaces, including four RV spaces, seven LSV spaces, 9 ADA-accessible spots, and four EV charging stations, this facility is designed to make arrival simple.

Visitors can enjoy an air-conditioned lobby and clean bathrooms, giving you a comfortable place to get beach-ready before heading to the shore. From there, the tram drops you right on the sand, leaving just a short walk between you and a day of Gulf views.

By the end of this summer, the Grayton Beach Community Center across from Chiringo opens June 15, with new bathrooms and a completed boardwalk to the beach, making the Grayton Beach experience even better.

From Grayton Central, trams provide service to:

Another Easy Option: 393 Municipal Parking Facility

The 393 Municipal Parking Facility is another great option for visitors looking for a smoother way to reach the beach. With 74 parking spaces, 4 ADA-accessible spots, bathrooms, and a beautiful indoor space, you can beat the heat while waiting for the tram. This location makes your beach day process refreshingly simple.

Summer Service Expands Beach Access

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Beach Tram service will also extend to Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, further expanding access to some of Walton County’s most beloved coastal spaces.

This added service is part of Walton County Tourism’s continued effort to make beach access more convenient while serving as a responsible steward of the area’s natural resources. By promoting easier beach access and less congestion, we can better protect our delicate ecosystem.

Parking Permit Information

Want to drop off your car before boarding the tram? Grayton Beach Municipal Parking Facility and 393 Municipal Parking Facility are part of Walton County’s paid parking program.

Non-Walton County residents may purchase a Non-Resident Annual Parking Permit for $205 per year, or a Non-Resident Weekly Parking Permit for $90 per week.

Daily non-resident parking without a permit is just $5 per day during the winter season, which runs from November through February. During peak season, March through October, parking is $5 per hour, or $15 for the full day.

• Ride directly from Grayton Central to the corner of Hotz Avenue and Garfield Street.
• Departs every 10 minutes.
• Runs daily from 6 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Blue Mountain Local Route
